On Sunday, suicide bombers attacked several churches in Surabaya, Indonesia. Casualties reported so far are 12 deaths and over 40 injured. No disciples from our churches have been reported injured. Police ordered cancelation of church services for the day. The Surabaya Church of Christ completed their service with no adverse effects. Please pray for Indonesia. On this same day 20 years ago, riots and killings took place against minorities in the country. A few days ago, 155 terrorist prisoners took over a high security prison and killed five police. I went to high school in Surabaya and know the churches that were attacked. Some of my friends know some of the victims. Please pray for the affected community.
