Jorge y Patty Diaz, son disc\u00edpulos con varias d\u00e9cadas en la f\u00e9, y ahora jubilados de su actividad profesional. Tienen un hijo de 25 a\u00f1os de edad, quien ha sido discipulo por m\u00e1s de una decada, e inicia este a\u00f1o, con el favor de Dios, su vida profesional como piloto de la aviaci\u00f3n comercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A ra\u00edz de la pandemia, Jorge y Patty, decidier\u00f3n, en acuerdo con la Iglesia de Cristo en M\u00e9xico, iniciar un ministerio para ayudar a los hermanos a lidiar con los diversos procesos de duelo que se acrecentar\u00f3n a partir del a\u00f1o 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El duelo es un concepto que nos acompa\u00f1a a lo largo de nuestras vidas, practicamente desde que nacemos. Las perdidas pueden tener diversos origenes y connotaciones, y trascienden en nuestra salud f\u00edsica, emocional y por supuesto espiritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfrentamos perdidas cuando sufrimos una decepci\u00f3n sentimental, un divorcio por ejemplo, o cuando nuestra salud se ve afectada de manera permanente, por una enfermedad cr\u00f3nica por ejemplo, o cuando sufrimos alg\u00fan tipo de violencia o abuso, o cuando nos sentimos agobiados por el rumbo que ha tomado la vida de nuestros hijos, en las drogas y vicios por ejemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este libro \u201cGracia en el Dolor\u201d es una gu\u00eda para el ministerio que ellos dirigen, recoge la experiencia de estos primeros tres a\u00f1os de vida del ministerio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como discipulos, sin duda estamos amparados en las escrituras y en la oraci\u00f3n, adoraci\u00f3n y contemplaci\u00f3n de nuestro todopoderoso Dios. La ayuda que nos brindamos unos a otros resulta una herramienta poderosa en el contexto del acompa\u00f1amiento que demanda una persona en medio de una perdida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the author: Jorge Diaz’s career spans more than 30 years in various countries in America, Europe, and Africa. He has developed knowledge and skills from work as a researcher in the academic field, as a consultant in international organizations including United Nations agencies, and as a public policy manager in government institutions. For the last 15 years, he has been involved in humanitarian assistance, providing technical support in post-disaster reconstruction programs, climate crises, and conflicts. In the post-pandemic era, together with his wife, they started the “Grace in Pain” ministry, which seeks to provide support in loss processes of various natures, in the context of biblical teachings. <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
