With no mandate for global intervention, no direct influence from outside the region can be initiated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2020 \u2013 and beyond<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Regional Peacemaking approach is designed to be effective in resolving local and regional conflicts.
