<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nBefore I surrendered my life to Christ, I was chasing after attention. I wanted people to applaud my talents and efforts. I poured endless hours into my craft, but despite all my hard work, I never found the fulfillment I was seeking. I couldn\u2019t see in myself what I desperately wanted others to see, and gradually, my drive as an artist began to fade. I shifted my focus to romantic relationships, thinking they might fill the emptiness. But instead, I found myself emotionally drained, jumping from one relationship to another, still convinced that something was missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The turning point came after I was involved in a car accident. I walked away without injury, but as I waited for the tow truck, something shifted within me. I realized I had had enough of trying to make my own choices. In that moment, I longed for something more, something real. I began to earnestly seek to understand who Jesus is \u2013 his grace, repentance, forgiveness \u2013 and how deeply God loved me, even in my brokenness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was Bryce Thompson, a brother from the Montgomery Church of Christ (now known as Capital Rivers Church of Christ), who reached out to me. He was DJing a live performance I was part of, and we connected after the show. We shared our values and stances, and eventually, we studied the Bible together. A couple of months later, I was baptized into the faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Becoming a disciple didn\u2019t just change my spiritual life, it transformed the way I viewed my art. What was once a tool for self-expression and validation became a means to share God\u2019s love and truth. I began creating with purpose; not for attention, but to serve others and honor God. My art became a form of worship. Every song I wrote, every performance I gave, became an opportunity to point people to Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The journey hasn\u2019t always been easy. There have been moments of doubt, financial struggles, and the temptation to compromise for success. There were times when I questioned whether my art could truly make an impact. But through it all, I\u2019ve learned to trust God\u2019s timing and his plan for my life, even when the path seemed unclear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, my prayer is that my work will continue to point people to Christ, be a light in dark places, and inspire others to seek a relationship with him. I\u2019ve learned that no matter where you are in your journey, God has a plan for you. He can use your gifts \u2013 no matter how imperfect they may seem \u2013 for his glory.
