That’s exactly what Chance of a Lifetime (COAL) Season Six offers — a life-changing, Kingdom-focused journey that will take you from the streets of Philadelphia to ministries across the U.S., and finally to the nations of the world.

This is more than a program. It’s a call to discipleship, a season of radical growth, and an opportunity to be part of God’s global mission.

The three phases of COAL

Phase One – Philadelphia: serving at Camp Hope for Kids (three months)

Your journey begins in the vibrant, diverse city of Philadelphia, where you’ll spend three months serving at Camp Hope for Kids. Here, you’ll pour into children and families through hands-on ministry, building relationships, and sharing the hope of Jesus. You’ll also receive intentional training in the ministry of Jesus, learning how to pray with power, share your faith with courage, and serve with humility.

Phase Two – Ministry placement (nine months)

Next, you’ll step into nine months of real-world ministry experience. Whether in a church, a community outreach, or a specialized ministry setting, you’ll put your training into practice while continuing to grow as a disciple of Jesus. You’ll be mentored, challenged, and equipped to serve wherever God calls you.

Phase Three – Global missions (three months overseas service)

Your final phase takes you beyond borders, as you join a missionary team overseas. This cross-cultural experience will stretch your faith, deepen your compassion, and expand your vision for God’s Kingdom. You’ll serve alongside local disciples, encourage the church, and share the Good News to the ends of the earth.

One mission, one focus

Through every phase, COAL is committed to one thing: Training you in the ministry of Jesus and teaching you how to live out your discipleship as we work together to build God’s Kingdom.
