I wrote a book about Jesus in French entitled, Yeshua bar Yoseph<\/i><\/a> and it was published by Les Editions du Net in Paris last year. As the first book I have written, it was released at 296 pages and reads like a novel. It is the story of our Jewish Lord in the context of his time – the real Jesus as described through the Scriptures and ancient history. It highlights lexicon in Hebrew or Greek, used in context to unveil the exact meaning and to expose the rapport with Jesus. <\/p>\n

The goal of the book is threefold: to encourage disciples to deepen their knowledge of Jesus, to inspire those who are studying the Bible to better understand him, and to reveal truth to unbelievers seeking to discover the crucified and risen Lord. <\/p>\n

\n Yeshua bar Yoseph<\/i><\/a> highlights aspects of the life of Jesus Christ that are often overlooked. Through it\u2019s pages we explore, why Greek was used for writing the New Testament, why the time of his coming was auspicious and ideal, the importance of his ancestors, his profession, his relationship with women, his appearance, his life and his sufferings from a young age through the circumstances of his arrest according to the Bible. We also look at the life of integral people during that time such as the Herods, Pontius Pilate and his friend Seianus, the influence of the high priests Anne and Caiaphas, Barabbas and others.\n<\/p>\n\n

My approach is to put myself, in that time through the eyes of various role players in the extraordinary story of the coming of the Messiah and the spread of the gospel. Thorough research of more than 14 years allowed me to discover and better understand a Savior who seemed familiar, and to approach him from different angles. <\/p>

The book begins with the death of Alexander the Great to demonstrate the expansion of the Greek language and its importance in New Testament text. We continue with the history of Israel and the formation of the various religious groups, their confrontations and the pivotal coming of the Messiah. Next we focus on the genealogy of Jesus, the family, the social, political and religious context. And finally life, ministry and the end of the Nazarene are described with precision and detail. <\/p>\n

I am a retired architect and my expertise comes from my faith in Christ for 33 years, personal convictions and extensive research. The content presented in this book is in accordance with what Bible experts have proven and demonstrated through Scripture and history. <\/p>\n

\n Yeshua bar Yoseph<\/i><\/a> is an exciting story about Jesus, and through my writing and research, I learned many new things that increased my passion for God\u2019s word. And many who have read it expressed a shared excitement. It is my understanding that it is the first book written by a disciple in the ICOC in a European language. It can be used as a great resource in all the francophone churches around the world.\n<\/p>\n

Le but est triple : encourager les croyants \u00e0 approfondir leur connaissance de J\u00e9sus, inspirer ceux qui \u00e9tudient \u00e0 mieux le comprendre et \u00e0 ceux qui ne croient pas encore, de d\u00e9couvrir leur Dieu crucifi\u00e9 et ressuscit\u00e9. <\/p>\n

Il s’agit d’un livre de 296 pages sur J\u00e9sus intitul\u00e9 : Yeshoua bar Yoseph<\/i><\/a> qui se lit comme un roman. Il s’agit du vrai J\u00e9sus tel que d\u00e9crit par les \u00c9critures, l’histoire antique et les mots en h\u00e9breux ou grec, utilis\u00e9s dans leur contexte avec leur signification exacte. <\/p>\n

Le but de ce livre est de mettre en lumi\u00e8re des aspects de la vie de J\u00e9sus-Christ qui sont souvent m\u00e9connus : la raison pour laquelle le grec a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour l’\u00e9criture du Nouveau Testament, pourquoi le moment de sa venue \u00e9tait le moment propice et id\u00e9al, l\u2019importance de ses anc\u00eatres car son arbre g\u00e9n\u00e9alogique \u00e9tait impressionnant et p\u00e9tri d’humanit\u00e9, sa famille nombreuse mais pauvre, son m\u00e9tier car il n’\u00e9tait pas charpentier, son rapport avec les femmes, son apparence, sa vie et ses souffrances depuis un jeune \u00e2ge, les circonstances de son arrestation car ils sont venus tr\u00e8s nombreux, la vie des H\u00e9rodes et de tous les personnages importants de son \u00e9poque comme Ponce Pilate et son ami Seianus, l\u2019influence des grands-pr\u00eatres Anne et Ca\u00efphe, Barabbas et d\u2019autres. <\/p>\n

Mon approche a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 de me mettre, dans diverses situations, dans la peau des diff\u00e9rents acteurs de cette histoire extraordinaire qu\u2019est la venue du Messie et la propagation de l\u2019Evangile. Une recherche approfondie de plus de 14 ans m\u2019a permis de d\u00e9couvrir et mieux conna\u00eetre quelqu\u2019un qui me semblait d\u00e9j\u00e0 familier, et de l\u2019approcher par diff\u00e9rents angles. <\/p>\n

Dans le livre, je commence \u00e0 la mort d\u2019Alexandre le Grand pour d\u00e9montrer l\u2019expansion de la langue grecque et son importance dans le texte du Nouveau Testament. J\u2019encha\u00eene avec l\u2019histoire d\u2019Isra\u00ebl et la formation des divers groupes religieux et leurs confrontations et la venue capitale du Messie \u00e0 ce moment pr\u00e9cis. Puis viennent la g\u00e9n\u00e9alogie de J\u00e9sus, la famille, le contexte social, politique et religieux. Enfin la vie, le minist\u00e8re et la fin du Nazar\u00e9en sont d\u00e9crites avec pr\u00e9cision et en d\u00e9tails. <\/p>\n

Je suis Architecte \u00e0 la retraite. Mon expertise vient de ma foi en Christ depuis 33 ans, de mes convictions personnelles et de mes recherches approfondies.
