The former French-Speaking West Africa Missions officially gave birth to two groups, one in West Africa and the other in Central Africa.

The new group covers six countries: the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, Chad, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and Gabon. The FCAM will be led by evangelist Moses and women’s ministry leader Honorine Kalala, current leaders of the DRC Churches of Christ and of the Kinshasa Church. Announcements were made by evangelist Emmanuel Koffi, lead evangelist of the Church of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, and head of the Francophone West Africa Missions. The creation of this new family of churches aims to revitalize the mission work and to better take into account the needs of the Central African region. Evangelist MosesKalala expressed gratitude to the mother church of Abidjan for the sacrifices made in the conduct of the evangelistic missions, for spiritual, human and spiritual support of all our churches.

The Abidjan church planted all the churches of the Central Africa region between the late 90s to the early 2000s and disciples are praying for this next time of wonderful growth of the new region. Moses Kalala’s words are full of faith: “The challenge is immense in terms of the sociology of our peoples and the level of integration of our territories. However, it is not impossible if we focus on the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The conference itself which brought together over 400 disciples, was a wonderful time of learning, corporate worship and rich fellowship.
