COVID-19 has not only hit millions of people around the world in their wallet but also in their dignity. This is no less so in small communities like Franklin, North Carolina where Russ and Kim Pullen moved from Orlando, Florida, eight months before the pandemic shut down the world.
The Pullens moved to the mountains of Western Carolina to fulfill a dream—to start a mountaintop retreat center. But God had a completely different plan for them, a way to fulfill his James 1:27 mission to look after the distressed and disadvantaged in their new community.
