Mabuhay! Greetings from the churches in the Philippines. II Corinthians 9:12 says “the service that you performed is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing with many expressions of thanks to God. “
First, we really want to share and thank all those who have been supporting us in prayers and resources. Your sacrifices are truly overflowing and we give many thanks to the Lord.
In 2017, we saw 371 people baptized and restored to Christ. Truly many expressions of gratitude are flowing back to God because of your generosity, your faith, and your help.
Recently we had our teen camp where 180 teens signed up to study the Bible. God is truly moving and many expressions of joy and thanks are being poured out to the Lord.
Also this coming July, we will be planting a church in Tarlac which is a province located north of Manila. It is so inspiring! What’s amazing is that even though the church has not been planted yet, nine people have been baptized by disciples who are there on missionary journeys.
This July will also be a turning point in the history of the Philippine churches since for the first time, we will be appointing elders. We will also be appointing a new teacher, an evangelist, and a women’s ministry leader.
God is glorified indeed. God is moving as we continuously train leaders for the church plantings. Your sacrifices are not in vain. We have the Asia Pacific School of Missions where 20 students are enrolled right now for practical and academic ministry. From that group of people, they will be sent out to lead churches in the provinces, new church plantings, and inexisting ministries all over the Philippines. Truly God is moving, the spirit is moving. Thank you so much for your love, thank you for your generosity, thank you for your sacrifices.
