Across the different regions of the church in Lagos, Nigeria, the women celebrated memorable International Women’s Day events between March 8-10.
The event’s theme was based on the scripture, “From him, the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” – Ephesians 4:16 (NIV).
The women in the different regions put their unique interpretation of the scripture into practice. This included fasting and prayer, visits to orphanages where the sisters played, sang, and ate with the children, and events centered around women-specific health and self-care topics.
