The church in Lagos, Nigeria, celebrated a thanksgiving service at the end of January. Jude Uzoma Ordu of the Oshodi-Isolo Region was appointed elder, witnessed by over 2,000 in attendance. This appointment brings the total number of elders currently in Lagos to five.
Jide Ojo, the lead evangelist in Lagos, encouraged the church with a message entitled, The Certainty of Heaven.
The church enjoyed more celebrations, as four students graduated from the NEOSOM School of Missions, West Africa. And two new sisters were welcomed after their baptisms.
