More than 130 church leaders from South and Central America and the Caribbean attended this year’s Miami School of Missions. In addition to fellowship that resembled a big family reunion, attendees participated in interactive lessons: Personal Holiness (Guy Hammond); Biblical and Social Justice, Engaging Your Community, and Self-Awareness using Personality Profiles (Robert Carrillo) and Deliberate Discipleship (Ed and Deb Anton). The 2019 school session saw a growing number of campus students and ministry interns, soaking in the deep Bible teaching, making connections with experienced church leaders, and building friendships with mission-minded peers. Despite translators, headsets, and handouts printed in three languages, the School of Missions is a visual aid that our identity in Christ transcends language, culture, and life stage.
