The Hampton Roads Church (HRC) seeks to fill two full-time positions in our youth and family ministries. The Hampton Roads area is in Virginia and includes the cities of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, and surrounding towns and counties.
We prefer at least one year of ministry experience. The desired candidates would have a history of walking with youths (in partnership with parents) with the goal of developing and growing a life-changing faith in God. Successful candidates would be responsible for coordinating youth activities as well as training and developing youth workers to effectively build the youth and family ministry across the church.
Successful candidates will work directly with the lead evangelist and women’s ministry leader with the intent of career ministry progression. The salary is commensurate with previous experience. The HRC staff salaries are based on the local public school salary model. Other benefits include full health, dental, and vision insurance as well as matching 403(b) retirement contributions.
