Milestone Churches’ focus on the next generation continues to bear fruit as they witnessed the appointment of a second evangelist in two years.
On June 25th, the Milestone family came together to celebrate the appointment of Thor Belarde as evangelist.
Having been baptized in 2008, Thor has served the congregation with his passion for the campus and youth ministries. He and his wife Gabrielle (Gabi) currently lead the fruitful campus ministry and recently accepted the call to oversee the young professional ministry.
Both Thor and Gabi are much loved and respected ministers of the Milestone family, known for their energy, concern for others, creativity, and fun-loving spirit. They have been married for five years and have two young children.
We are certainly blessed to witness Thor Belarde’s appointment and look forward to seeing all that God will continue to do through his passion and love for His people.
For years, the Milestone Churches have had a prayerful focus on raising up the next generation of ministers. Through a dynamic leadership model, our younger ministers have received mentorship and been provided opportunities for leadership in various areas of ministry. That determination has born much fruit as the church is now blessed to have NextGen ministers powerfully leading throughout the church and in the community.
