“…Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.” – 1 Corinthians 14:12
How can we raise up teachers in our churches (Ephesians 4:11)? In what way does the teaching ministry contribute to building healthy churches (1 Corinthians 14:12)?
For the third year in a row, our ICOC church in Tallinn, Estonia, Tallinna Kristlik Vabakogudus is hosting a Teaching Ministry Conference on August 17 – 20, 2023, and invites anyone who would like to attend.
Entitled “Pressing on to Maturity,” with an emphasis this year on personal and congregational spiritual formation, the goal of this conference is to increase the understanding of the value and role of the teaching ministry, as well as to take the opportunity to share in some great teaching and learning.
This event is meant not only for teachers but also for church leaders, future teachers, members of the leadership group, evangelists, shepherds, and all those whose dream it is to contribute to the construction of a healthy, strong church. We would also like to build unity within our churches, so we plan to have regular communication between those who share our passion and dream of seeing teaching ministries rise up in churches all across our continent.
It is meant for men and women, young and old!
At the TMC website you can view the details of the program for this year as well as find out all you need to know to register online. Registration costs 30 Euros* and closes on August 1. It is possible to participate virtually or to come in person to visit one of the most beautifully preserved medieval cities in Europe, on the shores of the Baltic Sea.
This year’s program features an emphasis on both personal and congregational spiritual formation.
Some of this year’s presenters include:
- Steve Kinnard, teacher and evangelist, New York City Church Of Christ; Dean of the Bible Department and Professor of Bible at the Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology.
- Evangelist David Hooper, (MDiv, DMin), Austin Christian Church
