The Bridge Church Baton Rouge is seeking new leadership for our congregation of 50 members. Baton Rouge is the capital of the great state of Louisiana and home to its flagship university, Louisiana State University, as well as Southern University (a historically Black university) and Baton Rouge Community College. Also known as “The Red Stick,” the city is home to more than 700,000 people, and is about a one-hour drive from New Orleans. Baton Rouge is known for its slow pace and southern hospitality; not to mention its delicious cajun cuisine. The warm communities and family friendly atmosphere are part of what make Baton Rouge feel like home.

The church has a diverse membership to include married couples, singles, college students and teens. Our members range from newly baptized disciples to those 30+ years in the faith, and are located from the city of Prairieville in the east to the cities of Lafayette and Leesville in the west. The church was planted by The New Orleans Church and became self-sufficient in 2013, and joined the now Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana region of our family of churches in 2019. Over the past two years, the church has been led by a full-time couple, a part-time campus intern and several volunteer leaders. The Bridge hosts Sunday services on the campus of LSU, where the church as seen a campus ministry revival over the last year. This faith filled congregation is excited about what God is doing among us. We welcome leaders that have a vision for Southern Louisiana and a desire to see God glorified here!
