What happens when you gather millennial disciples full of zeal, vision and artistry to present God in everyday life their own way? We present The Enspire Collective.
The Enspire Collective is the brainchild of Derrick Mapagu and his wife Jamie Espadilla Mapagu. Derrick and Jaime are young married disciples. Jaime was converted as a teen, while Derrick was a college schoolmate whom she reached out to, and eventually married. They were married in the church in 2016.
The Mapagus, along with other disciples from the Singles Ministry of ICOC Makati Region of the Philippines, have been conducting Enspire Talks and Enspire Worship Sundays for about a year now to a well-attended audience of mostly artists, media practitioners, young professionals and the like. To date, two attendees of Enspire Collective have already been baptized into Christ: a painter and visual artist named Angelica Nepomuceno and a videographer named Alvin Yllana.
