It was an exciting and amazing five-day world class International Campus Leadership Conference 2018 hosted by SWAT LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, held at Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort in Ekiti State from October 10-14, 2018. Nearly 240 students from across West and East Africa attended the conference, themed “Evolution.”
The serenity of the environment was very relaxing and enjoyable as we appreciated nature on display.
The International Campus Leadership Conference also witnessed inspiring classes on:
- Emotional Intelligence (16 personality test)
- Spiritual Evolution
- Emotional Evolution (I love you, but I don’t like you)
- Academic, Career and Workplace Evolution
We also took part in physical exercise during aerobics led by one of our finest drill instructors.
We had the opportunity to explore the legendary Arinta waterfall where all participants took up the Ironman survival challenge, an activity that was new to this year’s conference.
The boys were definitely separated from the men as participants engaged in a long eight-mile endurance trek, and also challenged themselves to claim the level seven of the Arinta waterfall before another eight-mile trek back to the conference venue!
Not for the faint-hearted, only the ironmen and iron heart survived.
God has blessed our country with amazing natural tourist centers across the nation. It was mind blowing to see the clear meeting point of where warm and cold spring water meets. This is where science meets nature…
Above all the fellowship and network opportunities of the conference were immeasurable. We all will miss Ikogosi Spring Resort embedded in the heart of the forest and wildlife.
Next year promises to be yet another power-packed, earth shaking and back breaking, thunder striking international conference as we see in Cotonou, Benin Republic who will play host! #ICLC 11.0
