We’re excited to share how God has moved through the singles ministry in 2024—it’s truly been an incredible year! The highlight was, without a doubt, the North American Singles Conference (NASCON) held at the end of August. With 1,700 singles gathering together—including many from around the world—it was a remarkable time of connection, worship, and growth. This year’s conference was especially historic because every main stage moment was led entirely by singles. From preaching and worship to acting, scripture reading, prayer, and personal sharing, singles took full ownership of the program—something never before done in the history of NASCON within the ICOC fellowship. This milestone wasn’t just symbolic but a powerful testament to the capability, leadership, and heart of singles within our churches.
Throughout the conference, we focused on equipping disciples to recognize God’s work in the world, respond to his calling, and engage faithfully in his Kingdom. There were many stories of personal transformation, deepened faith, and new friendships formed across nations. Attendees left encouraged, challenged, and eager to share what they have learned with their local ministries.
Leadership transition

After years of dedicated service, Elias and Rachel Deleualt stepped down as chairs of the International Singles Service Team (ISST). Their leadership has been instrumental in planning multiple singles conferences and inspiring a culture of excellence, vision, and unity among singles worldwide. While we will miss their leadership dearly, we’re thrilled to welcome Richard and Shannon Buckner as the new chairs. Richard and Shannon bring a deep love for the singles ministry and a vision for what’s ahead, and we’re confident they’ll continue to build on the foundation laid by their predecessors.
The current Service Team:
- Richard and Shannon Buckner — chairs (Philadelphia, PA)
- Jon & Shelby Gotangco — (Milwaukee, MN)
- Pablo & Nicole Padilla — (Los Angeles, CA)
- Joshua Mayes — (Broward, FL)
- Emily Vogel — (Broward, FL)
- Jen Martinez — (Las Vegas, NV)
- Ryan Holland — (Los Angeles, CA)
- James Skinner — (Boston, MA)
In 2025, our primary focus is preparing for the next NASCON in 2026. We believe God is already at work, setting the stage for even greater things than we witnessed this year. We’re prayerfully anticipating a conference that will gather singles from around the globe and inspire them to live out their faith boldly in every sphere of life.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. We are eager to see how God will move and hope to partner with you on this exciting journey.
