The Bridge Church Baton Rouge, Louisiana seeks a loving and experienced minister(s) to lead and shepherd our congregation of almost 50 members. Christ is our firm foundation, and the church strives to be light and salt wherever we are.

The capital city of Baton Rouge sits on the mighty Mississippi River and is a great place to live and raise a family. The church consists of a diverse group known for their resilient faith and culture of family. The city reflects that diversity. It is also home to the state flagship university, Louisiana State University, Southern University (a historically black tertiary institution) and Baton Rouge Community College.
Members include married couples, singles, college students, and teens, from newly baptized disciples to those 30+ years in the faith, and are located from Prairieville in the east to the cities of Lafayette and Leesville in the west.
We are praying to find a godly, visionary, faith-filled leader(s) to begin as soon as possible.
Our history
The church was planted and supported by The New Orleans Church in 2013. For greater collaboration, the church joined the now Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana region of our family of churches in 2019. Since June of 2023, the church has been led by several volunteer leaders and a part-time campus intern. The Bridge hosts Sunday services on the campus of LSU.
Baton Rouge, which means “Red Stick,” is home to more than 227,000 people in the city-proper; more than 450,000 in East Baton Rouge parish (called counties in other states); and nearly 900,000 in the Greater Baton Rouge area, which includes four neighboring parishes. Moreover, Baton Rouge is a one-hour drive from New Orleans, home to our sister church.
