Camp Swamp has served thousands of children and their families for three decades and is looking for an assistant facilities manager. 

Duties:

This position is responsible for performing maintenance and monitoring all facilities on a 178-acre property to make sure the camp remains safe, secure, and well-kept and reports to the facilities manager while working alongside and supporting other leaders in the organization and the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems. The role assists with budgets for contracts, equipment, maintenance, and supplies. 

The job is responsible for acquiring, distributing, and storing supplies and it also assists with and reviews operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The position supervises and provides Christian spiritual mentoring and counseling to onsite temporary seasonal facilities volunteers.  It coordinates resources to effectively handle the needs of 250+ overnight guests for weeklong stay sessions and year-round retreats.

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED plus experience as a facilities worker or in a directly related occupation.
