The city of Charlotte, located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, is a thriving and modern city positioned within convenient driving distance of the Appalachian Mountains and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as metropolitan cities Atlanta and Washington D.C. According to a new study from U.S. News & World Report, Charlotte is ranked in the top five of 150 major cities for best places to live in the United States. The area provides a variety of living options from lively urban life to the serenity of quiet suburbs.

The Charlotte Church, which serves the Charlotte Metropolitan and surrounding areas, is seeking a Congregational Evangelist and Regional Women’s Ministry Leader to inspire, equip, and coordinate a congregation of disciples toward spiritual growth, service to the body of Christ, and evangelistic outreach in a manner consistent with biblical teaching and the church’s mission and vision statement.
The church is seeking individuals who have demonstrated experience in reaching/raising up the “next generation” of leadership, leading small and midsize groups, evangelistic Bible talks, discipleship groups, and one-to-one counseling/discipling, in addition to experience in training others for leadership and service. As a staff member, you will have the opportunity to work closely together with the staff and leadership team/elders in Charlotte to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ, to include faithfully supporting our sister churches in East Africa.
As a congregation, the Charlotte Church has nearly 400 members, representing 40 different nations. The church also has a dedicated worship facility located near uptown Charlotte, complete with a fellowship hall, gymnasium, and generous classroom space for the children’s ministry.
