Singles minister opportunity

The Charlotte Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time male leader for the singles ministry (FOCUS).

FOCUS stands for Fellowship of Christ’s United Singles. This ministry currently includes approximately 35 active disciples throughout the Charlotte area and is a vibrant community of singles pursuing God, relationships, and purpose.

The selected candidate will partner with a married sister currently serving in ministry leadership, to help lead and strengthen the singles ministry. We are seeking a brother who can inspire, equip, and coordinate the ministry toward spiritual growth, meaningful relationships, service to the body of Christ, and evangelistic outreach in a manner consistent with biblical teaching and the church’s mission and vision.

Who we are seeking

We are looking for a spiritually mature leader who demonstrates:

  • A vibrant personal walk with God and a willingness to share that faith with others
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and shepherd people spiritually
  • Ability to counsel and teach from the Bible
  • Passion for studying the Bible with men in Charlotte
  • Experience raising up and training new leaders
  • Ability to partner with diverse groups of people and work collaboratively
  • A heart for evangelism, discipleship, and relational ministry

Preferred qualifications

  • A four-year college degree is preferred
  • Two or more years of full-time/paid ministry experience is highly preferred, but not required

Campus minister opportunity

The Charlotte Church is prayerfully seeking a campus minister / ministry intern to help lead, strengthen, and grow our campus ministry while developing future ministry leadership.

This role is ideal for a spiritually mature disciple who is passionate about reaching college students and young adults, building disciples, training leaders, and helping others grow in their walk with God. This position also serves as a developmental ministry role for those pursuing long-term service as an evangelist, teacher, elder, or women’s ministry leader.

The selected candidate will work closely with the church leadership team and ministry staff to advance the mission of Jesus Christ through discipleship, evangelism, worship, service, and spiritual formation.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and oversee a vibrant campus ministry focused on discipleship and outreach
  • Study the Bible with students and young adults
  • Mentor and spiritually guide campus disciples
  • Raise up and train volunteer leaders
  • Organize campus devotionals, events, retreats, and service opportunities
  • Preach, teach, and lead Bible studies as assigned
  • Partner with parents, staff, and church leadership to strengthen ministry impact
  • Develop future leaders and create lasting spiritual growth
