Christian leadership is more than influence or management, it is a lifelong spiritual vocation. The CHORD Leadership Center is launching its new Certificate in Spiritual Leadership Formation, a two-year journey designed to help experienced spiritual leaders deepen their relationship with Christ while growing in wisdom, humility, and faithful leadership.

A two-year journey
Beginning in June 2027, participants will engage in:
- Three in-person retreats
- Four 10-week semesters
- Small-group cohorts
- Guided spiritual practices
- Teaching, readings, and reflection
Together, these experiences invite leaders into three movements: Being. Knowing. Doing.
Rather than focusing primarily on leadership skills, the program emphasizes spiritual formation and becoming the kind of leader God is calling us to be.
Who is it for?
The Certificate is designed for experienced spiritual leaders who desire continued growth and renewal. We welcome leaders serving in a wide variety of roles, including evangelists, elders, teachers, women’s ministry leaders, deacons, volunteer leaders, and others serving Christ in their communities.
Application information:
Applications for the inaugural cohort of 25 men and 25 women will be open August 10 – December 15, 2026.
