Every movement is shaped by a story, and our story matters. We invite you to join a special course on Restoration History, designed to help disciples better understand the biblical convictions, spiritual courage, and historical moments that gave birth to our movement.
This course invites you into the rich story of the American Restoration Movement—also known as the Stone-Campbell Movement—and its enduring theological vision. Together, we will explore the historical roots, key documents, and formative leaders who sought to restore the unity, simplicity, and vitality of the New Testament church. From the fervor of the Cane Ridge Revival to the prophetic clarity of Thomas Campbell’s Declaration and Address and Barton W. Stone’s Last Will and Testament of the Springfield Presbytery, students will trace the movement’s origins and the convictions that shaped it.

The course will be taught by Dr. Steve Kinnard, a widely respected author, teacher, and longtime leader within the International Churches of Christ. With clarity, depth, and pastoral insight, Dr. Kinnard brings history to life, connecting the past to faithful discipleship today.
Whether you are new to the church or have been part of the fellowship for many years, this course offers a meaningful opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow together. Come discover where we’ve come from so we can move forward with wisdom, unity, and renewed purpose.
The course is open for registration and will run from March 15 to May 9. You are invited, whether you are students or non-students, to attend this special course. For non-students, apply here to “audit” the course.
