We are excited to share that the Build Conference was a success! The Tri-County Church had a big idea to host a weekend for small churches within driving distance of their city: Jackson, Mississippi. They then asked a handful of church leaders to join the planning team to create themes, class ideas and find disciples from their churches to help with the event. Build was truly a group effort but would not have been possible without the 15 members of the Jackson church who were amazing servants the entire weekend.They helped with registration, setting up classrooms, ushering, assisting attendees, and more, all with big smiles.
More than 200 disciples from around the Southeast and beyond came together to learn, grow and build one another up. There were uplifting classes and main lessons. The worship times and fellowship were so encouraging!
The Giant Cow Children’s Ministry program was wonderful for kids to learn about God while having a blast. Parents even joined for a session to worship and learn together. The teens enjoyed specific time to connect and have spiritual conversations. Singles had a class together, as well as meals and conversations. There were classes for those in the workforce, for marrieds, for parents, for caregivers and much more.
The daily themes were Build Faith, Build Fruit, Build Family and Build Forever. It was hard to leave this little glimpse of heaven but we are excited to see how God will help us keep building for him! Stay tuned for more details as the HavenRock Church in Birmingham, Alabama has already announced they would like to plan the 2027 conference.
