So much has been written, and even scientifically proven, about the power of forgiveness. Yet, in our churches, families, and larger communities, misconceptions still linger. What does it really mean that “love keeps no record of wrongs”? Does God call us simply to forgive and forget?
To address these and other questions on forgiveness, the ICOC Women’s Service Team is offering a free webinar called “The Gift of Forgiveness: The Spiritual Practice of Letting Go.” It will be held this Saturday, December 13, at 4 p.m. UTC. (Please check to see what time that would be in your time zone.)
Although the webinar is free, pre-registration is required. You can register up to the time of the event. Click here to register.
Three wise and experienced teachers will guide us through this challenging topic:
- Tammy Fleming (Kyiv, Ukraine/US Texas) — Tammy is a mother, grandmother, author, Grief Recovery Specialist, and retired women’s ministry leader.
- Michele Hoyt (US Florida) — Michele is a retired insurance agent, mother, grandmother, lover of family and nature, and she serves as a family group leader in her local congregation.
- Nadine Ebhogiaye (UK London) — Nadine is a secondary school science and maths teacher, programme manager for HOPEworldwide – UK, and she serves with the campus ministry and in a church leadership group in London.
Please join these women and others as we explore the teachings on forgiveness in the Bible and consider forgiveness as a spiritual discipline.
