The Halifax-Dartmouth Church of Christ is prayerfully seeking a full-time evangelist to help lead and grow our church family, and to share the good news of Jesus.

We are looking for a man with a clear calling from God, a deep conviction to follow his Word, share his love, make disciples, along with a desire to love and shepherd a diverse, multigenerational congregation.

About the Halifax-Dartmouth Church of Christ

Our congregation was planted in 1997 as a community church and today is a fellowship of over 40 disciples from a wide range of racial and economic backgrounds.

We are part of the Canadian Family of Churches (CFC) and enjoy close partnership and fellowship with congregations across the region.

We are a Bible-based church that wants to:

  • Help people grow in their relationship with God, wherever they may be in their journey of faith and discipleship,
  • Help people know Christ, repent, be baptized, and walk as faithful disciples.
  • Grow in spiritual maturity, love, and unity.
  • Use our God-given gifts to serve one another and our communities.

About the Halifax-Dartmouth area

The Halifax Regional Municipality forms the largest urban centre in Atlantic Canada, with a population of just over 500,000.

Nova Scotia is known as “Canada’s Ocean Playground,” and our community offers:

  • A major harbor city, vibrant waterfront, and rich maritime history
  • Four universities and a large community college
  • Beautiful beaches, lakes, and trails
  • A growing, multicultural population and lively arts, food, and cultural scene

It is a wonderful place to raise a family, build community, and reach many people with the gospel.
