Survey

We surveyed the Regional Family Chairs (RFCs) to understand the present state and development of evangelists in their regions. A few highlights:

  • There is the desire to appoint many more evangelists in the next five years
  • Few regions have raised up more than 10 Evangelists in the last five years
  • Need to raise up evangelists under 40 years old
  • Some regions need clarity and unity on qualifications of an evangelist

Evangelist qualifications document

  • We have sought out what templates are used around the world
  • We developed and distributed to the RFCs a document stating the qualities of an evangelist.

RISE workshops

  • Quarterly Zoom workshops focused on evangelists and women’s ministry leaders in US and Canada
  • Javier and Kelly Amaya: Focus
  • Scott Davis: Prayer
  • Chris Ogbonnaya: The Africa Story – Living lives worthy of the Lord
  • Sam Cameron: The SPA Story – Taking steps of courage and faith

In 2025 we are looking to promote healthy growth in our churches worldwide. We will host a series of international Zoom workshops focused on the qualities of an evangelist. We will address the calling, character and competence of an evangelist. We are praying for God’s direction on further ways to promote the health and growth of our churches worldwide.
