We are excited to announce a new Chord Connect class entitled “Being,” for our partnering Schools of Missions in January 2025. This course invites participants to explore the foundational questions:
- Who are we at our core?
- What is important to us?
- What do we value the most?
The goal of this class is to explore answers to these important questions. Students will investigate both the biblical text and the writings of great spiritual thinkers through the centuries to examine this topic. We seek to understand and embrace the crucial role of “being” in the framework of Christian spiritual formation.
Exploring who we are in Jesus, the class will lead students to examine their inner lives and discover healthy paths of spiritual maturation. This path of becoming more like Jesus is the journey of spiritual transformation.
This global initiative provides a unique opportunity for Chord Schools of Missions to come together in a shared journey of discovery, learning, and spiritual growth. “Being” is more than a class; it’s a call to re-center on the essence of faith and identity.
