The Montego Bay Christian Church, Jamaica, is prayerfully seeking a mature, dynamic and committed couple to lead our loving congregation. This is a great opportunity to serve in one of the most breathtaking places in the Caribbean, all while making an eternal impact in the lives of many!

Montego Bay is not just a well-known tourist destination with its stunning beaches, resorts and warm tropical vibes with a population of approximately 110,000. It is also a lively, growing city blessed with a rich academic and professional community. Home to campuses of top universities such as The University of the West Indies, University of Technology, University College of the Caribbean, and The International University of the Caribbean, the city has many young people and professionals. There is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, serve the community, and expand God’s Kingdom in this exciting, diverse city.

As a region of the Kingston Church of Christ, the Montego Bay Christian Church is a close-knit family of approximately 70 disciples. We are blessed with various ministries, including singles, marrieds, youth and family, and seniors. With God’s guidance, we believe our community has so much potential to grow and continue making an impact for his glory. We are hoping to build a strong campus ministry.

We are seeking a couple with a deep love for the Lord and a passion for building a Christ-centered, unified church.

Preferably, we are looking for a couple with at least one year full-time ministry experience in an ICOC congregation.

Here are some key qualities we are prayerfully looking for:

  • Experience working with people of different cultures.
  • Experience in leading and nurturing small to midsize groups.
  • The ability to train and raise leaders in the faith.
  • Being able to work with a team.
  • A passion for creating a loving, unified, and supportive church environment.
  • A heart to be trained and a genuine desire to continue growing spiritually together.
