Great news from our teen ministry! One of the teen girls from the Central Jersey Church of Christ, Sydney McLaughlin, qualified for the Olympics and will be running in Rio as a 16-year-old!
She will be the youngest track athlete to compete in the Olympics since 1972. Her parents, Willie and Mary McLaughlin, are faithful disciples as is her older sister Morgan and her brother Taylor (he ran in the Olympic trials and is currently breaking records at the University of Michigan). She is a great girl and an active participant in our youth ministry. Encourage your teens that a fellow Kingdom Kid is running in the Olympics!
