The New Orleans Church seeks a full-time male intern and full-time female intern (singles or a married couple) to learn and lead the campus ministry and as well as help with the growing teen ministry. The church is truly a family, with a good mix of seasoned disciples and young Christians. This opportunity provides a great place to grow and to give.
New Orleans is an amazing city with so much culture, good food, and always a reason to celebrate. There are many outdoor activities and beautiful parks. City Park is one of the oldest urban parks in the United States and a favorite for campus events, such as kickball, volleyball, and getting beignets at the Cafe du Monde.
New Orleans has eight colleges and was ranked No. 4 of 62 for best college city of 300,000 or more. We currently have eight disciples in the campus ministry, attending four of the schools. As we GrowNola and specifically focus on the youth, we would like to add an intern to our staff who would work with our female intern.
This is an incredible opportunity to be part of the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana family of churches. Throughout the year we have various fellowship and training times with other staff. The campus ministries across the region have joint retreats, training sessions, and campus swaps.
We are grateful for our partnership with The Bridge Church: Baton Rouge and their campus ministry at LSU and Southern, since they are just an hour down the road.
