The North River Church of Christ in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking to hire campus ministers (a couple or singles) and a male intern for the youth and family ministry. These amazing opportunities include leading or joining our campus ministry and serving a vibrant 65-student campus ministry across the Atlanta metropolitan area, including Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, and Georgia State University, or serving as an intern in our youth and family ministry.

When you join the ministry at North River, you don’t just join a staff; you are part of a diverse family, a fellowship of over 850 members. God has built an incredible team where we can laugh, dream, and serve his people together. Our ministry staff works closely with our 10 elders to “partner with God’s Spirit, helping all people grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus.” We have seen the campus ministry grow from 40 to 240 pre-COVID and now, in a post-COVID era, we are faithful that if God did it once, he can do it again. Our teen ministry is a vibrant family where we laugh, grow, and learn to “follow the way of Jesus together.”

We believe in the holistic development of our young ministers. You will receive training and discipling from our staff as well as personal shepherding from our campus shepherds. Through the Atlanta School of Missions, based out of North River, you will have an opportunity to receive a certificate from our three-year program.

As part of God’s heart for all nations, we have consistent connections with international missions! As a campus or teen minister/intern, you may have a unique opportunity over the summer to go on a faith-filled adventure abroad. At North River, we have the joy of being part of three meaningful missions societies (Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean). Almost every summer over the past 10 years, we have sent campus mission teams around the world to embark on adventures with God, seeking to ignite revival and encourage our churches abroad. Whether it’s Paris, Madrid, Ghana, Costa Rica, or most recently, Trinidad in the Caribbean, the summer is an exciting time in the ministry at North River.
