The Quad City Church of Christ is looking to hire two part time interns to serve in our Youth and Family Ministry.
The Quad Cities are represented by a family of communities on the Mississippi River including Bettendorf and Davenport, Iowa, and Moline and Rock Island, Illinois. With a surrounding population of nearly half a million people, the fields are ripe for harvest! And we need workers! Our middle and high school ministry is growing and we are looking for energetic and creative disciples with a heart for the youth to work alongside our Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader.
Carl and Stephanie Sullivan and the leadership group are excited to offer personal discipling and mentorship. We will walk with you to equip and train you to be a spiritual leader to the next generation. Housing is available through local church members.
Job description:
● A humble desire to be trained and equipped
● Work alongside the staff and leadership of the church
● Mentor the teens and young teens
● Create a fun and encouraging environment for the youth
● Plan and facilitate dynamic youth events
● Connect and work with the parents of the youth ministry
● Lead lessons and personal Bible studies
