To God be the Glory in Santiago, Chile

The last time the church in Santiago de Chile enjoyed a special offering was more than 14 years ago. Over the past five years God has been healing and restoring convictions in the hearts of every disciple in Santiago. After a time of pruning and recommitting to the Lord we wanted to start giving a special offering to the Lord.

God had put in our hearts a goal of $15,000 dollars. This was very challenging for all of us, especially coming out of a time of losing some members through the pruning process. However we wanted to trust God and give him all the glory. So we prayed and prepared for a year. The disciples were very creative looking for resources by selling breakfasts, doing garage sales, several auctions, bingo games, etc. On September 2nd of this year we all came together for a great worship service to give our special offering. The Lord took all the glory as we collected over $18,000 that day. Since then, more disciples have contributed and we have collected a total of over $19,400.
