A few recent graduates from Mountain Theological Seminary.

This fall marked a profound and joyful milestone for Mountain Theological Seminary (MTS). Thirty-two men and women from across the globe completed their degrees in Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling—an achievement representing years of dedication, late nights, perseverance, and spiritual growth. These graduates are now being sent out as teachers, counselors, and church leaders, equipped not only with academic training but with a deepened knowledge of God that will strengthen and bless our global fellowship.

Their success reflects the heart of the MTS mission: to build a worldwide community of biblically grounded, spiritually formed, and professionally prepared servants who teach, train, and transform the church and the world. Our faculty and staff pour out their expertise and passion so that our congregations may shine as lights in an increasingly darkened world.

Seventeen graduate in the first-ever Spanish-language ceremony

A historic moment unfolded during the recent MTS trip to Mexico City. Seventeen students received their degrees in the very first Spanish-language graduation ceremony ever held within our fellowship. This landmark event established a new and deeply meaningful tradition for the churches across Mexico and Latin America.

A weekend of celebration, unity, and vision

The spirit of the weekend was extraordinary filled with gratitude, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. The leadership of the 3,800-member Mexico City church was present supporting the graduates, along with various church leaders from across the nation. Their unified support demonstrated the growing commitment to theological depth and leadership development in the region. The celebration continued on Sunday morning as Mexico City appointed new elders and teachers—a significant milestone in the life of the church and a fitting complement to the graduation festivities.

Looking ahead: A growing mission

Throughout the visit, inspiring conversations took place about the vital need for ongoing theological education and leadership formation across Latin America. These discussions reaffirmed the essential role MTS plays in equipping emerging leaders for the next generation of ministry. We are excited about doing our part in building stronger healthier churches that can reach this lost world!

A special video capturing the joy, unity, and spiritual significance of the Mexico City graduation is now in production. This celebration—together with this year’s commencement ceremonies in Kansas and India—stands as a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and to the growing global impact of Mountain Theological Seminary’s mission: to teach, to train, and to transform.
