The Albuquerque Christian Church is seeking a woman to join our campus ministry team, working alongside an established campus minister to shepherd and grow a healthy college ministry of about 25 disciples.

We are ideally looking for a full-time campus minister with prior ministry experience. But we are also open to developing the right candidate through a part-time or internship role. This is an opportunity to step into a healthy, established campus ministry culture with a strong track record of raising leaders and sending disciples into lifelong kingdom impact. Compensation will be commensurate with role and experience.

About our church and ministry

We are a family-centred, multigenerational church of 130 disciples who are passionately pursuing knowing, becoming like, and partnering with Jesus, and who have always had an intentional focus on a high-impact college ministry integrated into a healthy church family. We have a legacy of raising young leaders. In the past few years, we have seen seven students go into the paid ministry all over the country. We plan to continue to prioritize raising and sending to build God’s kingdom locally and globally.

Role and responsibilities

  • Discipling and mentoring college women through building relationships, Bible study, prayer, and doing life together
  • Evangelizing and reaching out to students at the University of New Mexico
  • Developing and training future student leaders
  • Planning and leading devotionals, events, and outreach initiatives
  • Building strong relationships within the broader church, helping students integrate into the spiritual family
  • Making meaningful contributions to our staff and the greater church through building relationships, helping plan and facilitate church events and initiatives, and working with the staff and volunteer core.

What we are looking for

  • A woman with a deep personal relationship with God and a commitment to spiritual growth
  • Someone humble and eager to learn and receive hands-on ministry training
  • A heart to reach college students
  • Strong relational and communication skills
  • Alignment with the mission and values of Albuquerque Christian Church
  • Experience in campus ministry (preferred for full-time role)
  • A willingness to take initiative, while also working collaboratively on a team.
