After several months of prayer and discussions, the Dallas/Fort Worth Church of Christ eldership recently appointed Mark and Connie Mancini as the new congregational evangelist and women’s ministry leaders for the DFW Church. The Mancinis have done an outstanding job for the last 12 years leading the South and West Worship Centers of the DFW Church.
Mark and Connie also bring a wealth of many years of proven leadership experience, including the building of dynamic campus ministries at the University of Missouri and the University of Florida. From there, they led in Boston and were sent out to plant and lead the Toronto Church, where they helped spearhead the planting of churches across the nation of Canada. God called them next to lead the North Region of the Los Angeles church for 13 years before the Holy Spirit called them to Dallas in 2010.
The Mancinis are collaborative leaders committed to excellence. They are known throughout our fellowship for their reliance on prayer, their passion for raising up and training ministry staff, and their focus on building a loving fellowship.

“We want the church to know that it’s really the Holy Spirit who is leading the Dallas church,” Mark said at their appointment. “We just eagerly want to pursue and stay in step with his guiding.”
Before the Mancinis took on this expansive role, Todd and Patty Asaad led the DFW Church with incredible faith and devotion for the previous 12 years. We are grateful for the Asaads and their years of sacrificial service and their heart for the congregation. The Asaads will be stepping out of the full-time ministry but will continue to be a devoted part of the DFW Church that they so dearly love.
The DFW Church is quite excited about the future. We stand confident that God will do even greater things in the days ahead in this amazing DFW Metroplex of eight million people we call our home!
