In times of chaos and difficult circumstances, we would like to send you great news from Santiago de Chile, Southern Cone of South America. We hope this video can encourage you to see how God has been working in the lives of many disciples, friends and family in the church in Santiago.
This video captures four powerful stories of lives that were transformed.
- Juan and Lidia Bravo – They are the parents of our daughter’s best friend from school. We started building a friendship about two and half years ago. They had a very religious background and like Apollos in Acts they needed the way of the Lord explained to them, especially his love on the Cross and repentance. After understanding how much God loves them, they repented and were baptized into Christ on January 25.
- Julio Hernandez – Julio is the oldest brother of one my dearest friends and disciple, David Hernandez, who is being trained to be a teacher in our congregation. Julio was very involve in his evangelical church for more than 18 years and David for more than a decade has been an example for him of love, patience and humility. God finally humbled Julio and he surrender his life making Jesus Lord of his life and was baptized March 14.
- Diego – A 17-year-old son of a great couple in our church Cesar and Pati Pino. They were converted as singles and were married in the church years ago. Their example as parents have played a huge role in their children’s love for God. So after Diego studied the Bible with the teen leaders and others, he made the decision to make Jesus Lord of his life and was baptized on February 29.
- Gabriela Barreto – This story is very dear to our hearts. As parents, one of the biggest dreams and hope is to see your children become disciples. It has been a long journey and so many have influenced and loved our daughter. So is with deep joy, we announce the conversion of our daughter Gabriela Barreto as she got baptized February 29.
In the midst of the pandemic, God is changing and transforming lives.
