The Lynchburg Valley Church is looking for an intern to serve in the Campus Ministry and on our Social Media Team.
The position is for a part-time male or female Campus Intern that will primarily serve at Liberty University, University of Lynchburg, and Central Virginia Community College. Liberty University is one of the largest Christian Universities in the world, and has 15,000 students on campus. It ranked Niche.com’s #4 Best College Campuses in American in 2022.
Lynchburg, VA is nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the James River. It has a downtown vibe and a small town feel. The intern’s main responsibilities will include helping college students mature in their faith, studying the Bible with people, organizing and leading campus devotionals, and creating social media content. Training will be provided from the church leadership and Social Media Team. Previous campus ministry experience preferred, but not required.
The church in Lynchburg currently serves an area of over 70,000 people. We are a 2020 church planting, and we are part of the American Commonwealth Region (ACR) Family of Churches. The total church membership is approaching 30 people, with about half of them college students.
