In our last continental conference as Europe and the Middle East 2023, when the whole hotel was packed with around 200 disciples from different countries, God brought a couple from a non-Christian background from a country in the Middle East to spend their anniversary in the same hotel, not knowing that all the hotel guests were disciples of Christ. During meals, many approached them with greetings and hugs. Our brother Moufid noticed they were not part of the conference. He spoke to them and discovered they had randomly picked this hotel from the internet.
They noticed the love and warmth of the group, even though everyone was from different nationalities. They asked Moufid, “Who are you?” After he explained, their tears flowed, and they said, “We have been searching for God for many years.” The couple was invited to attend the sessions and worship times. Touched by the family atmosphere, they started studying the Bible during the conference and later continued online for three months after returning to their country. Later, they returned to the country where the conference was held and declared Jesus as Lord in baptism. Please keep them in your prayers because they are alone in their country and need encouragement.
Their story demonstrates that our God is the God of miracles; nothing is impossible for him when we seek him from our hearts. Through our love for one another, others notice that we are his disciples. To God be the glory!
