It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Jennifer Konzen has been appointed as our Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology dean of Christian Counseling. Of course, we still mourn the loss of Dr. Timothy Sumerlin, the previous dean of Christian Counseling but are thankful that Dr. Konzen has accepted this position.
Dr. Konzen comes to us highly qualified for this position. She has been our RMSMT Professor of Christian Marriage and Family Therapy for several years. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family and a Doctor of Psychology degree from Alliant International University. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, director of The Center for Sexuality in San Diego, a certified sex therapist, and a certified chemical dependency counselor. She is well-published and has authored The Art of Intimate Marriage and Redeemed Sexuality and The Ransomed Journey: Couples Recovery from Addiction.
