The Southern Connecticut Church of Christ (SoConn Church) is seeking a part-time youth and family ministry parent facilitator to serve and support parents as a part of the youth and family ministry. This part-time position is for no more than 10 hours/week with an hourly rate of $20 per hour. This position is based in Connecticut and the applicant will need to reside in Connecticut.
The Southern Connecticut Church spans Fairfield and New Haven counties. Our youth and family ministry is an important part of our fellowship, with over 20 families engaged in this ministry. We have two ministry leaders focused on engaging with the youth and their families. This position would focus on providing support to the parents in the ministry through providing resources, planning events and ensuring effective regular communications with the parents.
The lead minister and women’s ministry leader (Patrick and LaMicia Genova) will provide training on responsibilities and help support this position.

- High rational and professional integrity
- Ability and experience working collaboratively
- Ability to self-manage workload and ask for assistance as needed
- Ability to develop vision for the youth and family ministry and consider ways to spur on parents as they train their youth
